It's a pleasant enough walk down from Tamsin, but most of the shops are similar to those to be found in most big cities in Europe. The historic tram is a fun ride if you want to skip the walk. Alternatively, take a detour into the Galatasaray "Fish Market" for a more local view, or into the street full of bars to the right at the Tünel end of the street.

Great place for people-watching, with 2 million people a day traipsing up and down it. Be sure and explore some of the side alleys. And if you can get in at a time when the Korean tourists are otherwise busy, try the Kaymak at Ozsut Muhallebicisi down near the Tunel station; more than a little fattening bjut oh so good!

İstiklal Avenue or Istiklal Street is one of the most famous avenues in Istanbul. You can start your walk at Galata Tower and walk through Istiklal Street to Taksim Square. It's a must do thing in Istanbul. If you are lucky, you can catch the old tram running through this street on your way back. Lot of places to shop, eat etc. One of the best vibrant I have ever been.

The staff was very understanding and helpful in many matters, it is an ideal and clean hotel and the location is very good. Istiklal street is just above us, easy access to everywhere is possible. I will visit Mr. Musa again on my next visit.
We lived in an apartment with a hammam. Very convenient location on Istiklal Street. You can even walk to the main attractions. there is a nice Ciccin restaurant downstairs with delicious Turkish cuisine. I liked the service in the apartments, they cleaned it every day. Special thanks to Riza, who organized the transfer to the airport, helped with the suitcases even in rainy weather at 6 in the morning!
The hotel has a very good location in the middle of the city center, next to Istiklal Street and Taksim Square. The hotel is new. It is perfect for me because I enjoy walking to restaurants and shops in the evenings. Very friendly and kind personnel. I loved the excellent breakfast and also the nice cappuccino they brought to my room in the morning. The room was luxurious and very clean and our room was cleaned every day.
The location of the hotel is safe and quiet, walking distance from metro, restaurants, shops and Istiklal street. The hotel is very clean and the responsible guy Yusuf is very very kind and helpful. The hotel is renovated and modern, with all the necessary facilities.
The interior of this hotel is beautiful and the location is so close to istiklal street. Restaurants are near by. The hospitality of the staff is too good. We loved our stay here. More importantly they have hand showers in the washrooms. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Loved the breakfast options they have and the staff is so accommodating, specially the girl Emine at the breakfast is so polite and helpful. The boys at the reception are so helpful too. Thank you team Ayramin ♥️
I stayed in this hostel for 13 days. It is located near Istiklal Street and is close to the supermarket and restaurants. The manager is respectful and helped me get to know the places. Also, the receptionist Tugba helped me a lot with my schedule for tourist places. She is respectful and kind, and the evening receptionist is very excellent. The hostel is safe and very clean. I highly recommend it. 👌 hope to see you again soon .

Best location. In middle of Istiklal street.
Absolutely love it.
Our one-night stay at the Istanbul hotel was superb! Nestled near Istiklal street, its hillside location offered a picturesque setting. The spacious room, with its separate living and sleeping areas, was simply wonderful. The highlight was the luxurious bathtub equipped with hammam amenities, ensuring a relaxing experience. Overall, a truly comfortable and memorable stay.
