A favoured holiday spot since the Victorian era, Blackpool is a traditional English seaside town. Amusement arcades and crazy golf courses line the promenade and dotted between them are plenty of places to pick up fresh fish ‘n’ chips and Blackpool rock.
On the 5-mile sandy beach, children can enjoy Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides. Old-fashioned entertainment at its best. At the other end of the scale is the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a fairground complex comprising a variety of rides, including The Big One - once the world’s tallest and steepest rollercoaster. They actually had to get permission from nearby Blackpool Airport to erect it!
More seaside pursuits are on the town’s 3 piers, one of which is Grade II listed. However, the most recognisable landmark is the Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, 4D cinema and a world-renowned ballroom, to name a few. Modelled on the Eiffel Tower, it is spectacularly lit during the annual Blackpool Illuminations, when the whole town is bathed in bright lights. The trams plying the prom are also lit. Look out for the one shaped like a ship.
A popular stag and hen do destination, Blackpool offers accommodation ranging from North Shore hotels to South Shore B&Bs - see Booking.com for the best choice.

Plenty to do in Blackpool for all ages and for all weather - we had a sunny day and enjoyed exploring the piers and amusements and then a comedy show in the evening at the Blackpool Comedy Club which was an excellent finish to our day. We also went to the Grand theatre later in the week to see 2:22 A Ghost Story which was also great.

walked along the Promenade , was nice and clean(no doggy doo). Even though it was raining it was pleasant enough walk, crossed road and went into a few arcades , had some fun and found a nice quirky café in the top of one arcade(Blackpool amusement's) which was lovely and cheap. lots of the shop fronts were still closed and this was around 10am , most don't open till around 11am ish . overall , its a nice place to visit.

Pine lodge hotel was disgusting!
Pine lodge hotel was disgusting! Wallpaper peeling off walls, condensation on windows, hairs in the beds, the bedding was dirty, floors were dirty. I paid for two nights but l left the next day as I was unable to sleep, I booked via booking .com. Based on my experience, NO l would not recommend Blackpool, Pine lodge hotel or booking.com who displayed false images of the hotel including a dining room which this hotel didn't have, it also doesn't seem to have a complaints dept!

Blackpool is Blackpool !!
Blackpool is Blackpool !! It is a Marmite resort but you will never know it if you don't try it. Eating out is infinitely variable and all tastes are catered for. The tram service and it's staff is brilliant so part the car and use the tram
I was in Blackpool for the marathon, so my main aim was a good night's sleep before the race, and Lee & Chris's Belvedere was great. Lee gave a very friendly welcome, the room was very comfortable (the bed was perfect) and the shower was good. It was very quiet at night and I slept extremely well despite pre-race nerves! The location is great, less than 10 minutes walk from Blackpool North Station and close to the seafront. I'll stay here again when I next come to Blackpool.
Fantastic host, welcomed us in and showed us to out room explained everything about the hotel to us.
Great sized room with big TV, robes, slippers shower gels and got drink making facilities. Hotel is situated in an excellent location pretty much in-between the tower and the pleasure beach with a tram stop nearby if you don't fancy walking. We come to Blackpool around the same time for a few nights every year and this will be the hotel we will look at first going forward.
This hotel couldn't be in a better location. Blackpool seems to have a lot of these hotels as the chains have not made inroads. While modest, the hotel was well maintained and the staff was excellent. Everything you needed you had. The desk was attended 24 hours a day and there is a large room off the front desk if you just want to sit and take a break. I have to reemphasize that this hotel is in an incredible location right by Central Pier.
The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. They go out of thier way to ensure a comfortable stay.
Cheap and cheerful. Standard room with TV, shower and toilet.
So close to everything you need, cafes, amusements, seafront, blackpool tower, high street.
No curfews come and go as you please. Great lounge area when you're not in your room. Bar area. Smoking area.
Thank you Sellina and family for an amazing stay. Would recommend 👌
Great location, with parking onsite which is a big bonus. The staff were excellent and very friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Room was large, clean and bed were comfortable. Breakfast was tea or coffee, juice, choice of cereal, toast and a full English, very enjoyable. We only stayed the one night, but we were allowed to leave the car parked at the hotel on our leaving day for a few hours longer whilst we had more time to explore Blackpool.
Amazing location. Staff treating guests like family. Been to Blackpool many many many times in my life and stayed in quite a lot of hotels in and around Blackpool. Has to be one of the best. Amazing staff. Really amazing feel to the place. My partner loved it. Fantastic location and for such a very fair price. 100 percent booking this hotel again on my next trip to Blackpool.
Our hotel/B+B was excellent- it was spotlessly clean everywhere your eyes passed and the food was exquisite. The host's John, Ben + Ian could not have been more helpful, they really know how to run an establishment how it should be run.We also enjoyed walking along seafront and going up the Blackpool Tower.Overall we are well impressed with the Bromley and would return again.
Owner and staff friendly and helpfull, breakfast was cooked to perfection.
All worked very hard to ensure your stay was the best it could be.
Enjoyed the company with drinks in the evening.
Look forward to a return visit over the coming years.
A great location and love the character of a traditional Blackpool hotel run by a very hard working team.
As a regular visitor of blackpool for many years this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in! The owners are welcoming and friendly, the hotel is very clean and tidy, very good prices and the breakfast was fantastic. Definantly recommend to family and friends. We will be booking again.
I stayed here while I worked in Blackpool.
The staff are really friendly, and the room was excellent and very warm.
The hotel is in a great location close the ardwick pub which is only £1.80 a pint.
I will definitely be staying here again - it’s a two thumbs up from me.
Very friendly owner who did everything she could to help our family of 5 and small dog, very clean family room with double bed & bunk bed for the kids. For a couple of days stay in Blackpool that accommodates dogs on the seafront this hotel is perfect.
Friendly hotel and staff, owners are polite would recommend if you want to be on the seafront,i have stayed in quite a few hotels in blackpool with Grandchildren that are worse but its clean enough, friendly enough
Good location within walking distance of Blackpool North train station.
Hotel was close to a number of shops, shopping center, bars and restaurants, supermarkets and Blackpool Tram.
Staff friendly
This has got to be the best hotel in Blackpool and I have stayed in a few. So friendly clean beds and the bar is the best. We came down fr Scotland for a girls weekend and we can't wait to go back.
They accommodated us when we were left stranded in Blackpool when our original hotel was unfit to stay in. Staff were helpful and found us a room and helped with parking and getting to the room.
the location is perfect. right on the north pier so perfect for the Blackpool sights without all the noise! lovely hotel and very modern. we stayed with our little dog too so whole family trip!
The location of the hotel is fantastic, a very short walk to the beach front and arcades, about a 10 minute walk to Blackpool tower and a range of shops and restaurants are close by.
