The room was an excellent size. I apparently didnt read the booking when it said suite, so when we walked into a full kitchen, multiple bathrooms and laundry, we were very surprised. Our patio was right outside of the pool area, which was a big plus.

So much to do and see with Canmore being your base.
So much to do and see with Canmore being your base. It’s an easy quick trip to Banff without the hoards of tourists that are in Banff. Canmore has a cosy downtown with lots of activities in the surrounding area. It’s a great area to stay in!
Visited Grizzly Paw Brewing Company, Murriettas and Bridgette. All had great service!
Stayed in private owner suite at Solara. Young child friendly pool and huge hot tub area. Has a small restaurant and a liquor store.
Twilight Soak at Nordic Spa in Kananaskis area was fun and relaxing!

Canmore is a great little town right in the heart of the rockies. It is very close to Banff, without the cost of staying right in Banff. It is close to many outdoor activities for both summer and winter. Both Lake Louise and Sunshine Village ski resorts are within an hour. There are lots of hiking opportunities with some even starting in town. We have enjoyed many of the local restaurants, and there is a lot of variety to please any palate. While it can sometimes get busy, it is easy to get around and easily walkable for most people.

It is a lovely town with world-class views of the rocky almost on your doorstep on both sides. It's not as busy or touristy as Banff and it has some wonderful shops. It has two supermarkets both offering a massive choice of goods, and plenty of restaurants. There is the Nordic Centre which is brilliant for hiking in summer and cross-country trails in winter. I could easily live there. The only downside is that it is expensive, as is Canada in general.

I'm not sure what there is to do in Canmore, been there may times and never once done anything worth remembering. I've heard there are caves and great hiking trails. Unfortunately nothing is well marked and haven't stumbled across them yet.
We had a wonderful 4D3N stay at the Banff Woods Lodge, and we highly recommend this cozy home to all tourists coming to see the beauty of Alberta. It is very accessible to the scenic lakes, gardens, and mountains, as well as the famous ice field glacier.
We were welcomed with spacious and well-lit rooms provided with kitchen, toilet, and entertainment amenities to facilitate our stay. We brought our own food, and we were able to cook as they have all the tools and equipment as well as the basic ingredients.
The hotel was located beatifully and was an amazing value for money comparing it to other hotels in Canmore. Appartment was very spacious, offered a nice view, and the kitchen had everything you need and more. The gym and pool were nice for the evening and you can make free use of the 6 barbecues located outside. The staff was superb, were very nice and helpful and they let you rent bear spray for free during your stay. Highly recommend.
Room was very clean and had a nice, modern washroom. The staff were very friendly and the pool and hot tub were quite comfortable, with a nice view of the mountains. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes drive away from the downtown core of Canmore, which is nice, and the fact that it is near the railway tracks is no problem at all, the walls are as if soundproof!
First time on a RV, it was a great experience. Nice and clean RV. Well equipped. Everything inside RV was neat and clean but the bedding. However considering it's not a hotel and more like a luxurious camping experience, it was good enough. Easy excess to all the shops in Canmore and Banff.
Overall experience was great! Willing to come back with my other friends or family.
The hotel was conveniently located in Canmore right across the street from a couple great restaurants.
The beds were amazingly comfortable.
It is close to the train tracks but I found the hotel was well insulated and I hardly even heard them.
I slept so well in this cosy room!
They also offered a grab and go breakfast which was awesome to take with us as we travelled .
This is a fabulous hotel and is kept spotlessly clean. The scenery is stunning. Both sides of the hotel have a little river running and the mountains are just wonderful that surrounds the hotel. Just a five minute walk and you are right into the heart of Canmore, which is a very quaint little town. The people everywhere are just lovely. Highly recommend this to anyone.
Probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. These folks clearly understand how to run a hostel. Staff was incredible, showers in the rooms (and outside options too), kitchen amazing. Overall, the $80 shared dorm room and hostel facilities were superior to the $450 hotel across the street. Fantastic place and I’ll be returning here next time I’m in Canmore.
Love that the hotel was close to Hwy 1 Trans-Canada hwy & close to the Canmore Visitor Centre. Dwntn Canmore was a mere 2 miles away. Each room had a gas fireplace, which was nice. We were on the same side of a Tim Hortons & 2 gas stations! I say location makes all the difference in the World. We really lucked out.
Comfort the amenities and location. Spring Creek has its own grocery store and cafe which were both lovely
High specification with luxury appliances. Would highly recommend. Preferred Canmore to Banff as it was less touristy. Within walking distance to Downtown with good choice of bars and shops.
The room was a great size. The facilities where great. I loved having a washer dryer in suite.
Bed was comfy and the separate shower and bathtub was a treat.
The restaurant attached to the hotel is great!
Locations good, not far from canmore Town.
Awesome experience! Staff are nice, kind and very respectful! They also have free shuttle that goes to Canmore Downtown. I highly recommend this hotel
100/100 💯
Breakfast is delicious! ☺️
They also have photo booth which is awesome!!
I had travelled from Saskatoon to Fort McMurray to Jasper and finally to Canmore in one week staying in hotels at each location. The most comfortable was the Rundle Mountain Lodge. I will stay here next time I visit Canmore.
A lovely hotel, quaint layout, has a very "Rockies" feel to it and the decor to match. Situated in the west end of Canmore, it has easy access to and from the freeway although you couldn't hear the freeway traffic at all.
Cute bed and breakfast in canmore. Would definitely stay again. Staff was lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. The dog on the property made it feel homey, was far better than a large hotel chain.
it was clean and a great location, near restaurants and a grocery store. About 20-25 minute drive to the town of Banff. The restaurant in the hotel was very good and reasonably priced.
